The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop 41-46 Chevy Windshield Pics request

I've got a 41 Chevy Basketcase. So really have no idea where all the weatherstripping goes and what it looks like. I'm mostly curious about the front windshield and the rear windshield. I've got the die cast unit for the rear, but can't use it cause of the chopped top. What else should I do for installing the rear window to hold it in? It also didnt' come with a front windshield frame, just the center divider. Could someone send me pics of the rears and front windshield. I'd like to see where the crank mech. attaches, same with the hinges, also the weatherstripping around the windshield frame. I'm hoping to build my own.

On my '45 I don't have that pot metal frame holding the rear window. What you see here is an actual cross section of my two piece rear rubber molding that holds the rear window. It's still available at American Classics. You might want to set yours up like this and forget about the metal frame.
