So I had to move my frame over in the shop and I took some 95 dodge dually wheels and tried to put them on my 54 3800 and THEY FIT! I thought they weren't supposed to clear the 14" drums??? Also tried late 70's SRW wheels and they fit too...

Took about an hr and a half of prying but i got 1 drum off and everything looks pretty good. think i can even save the shoes. one problem is that about 25% of that reinforcing ring around the OD of the drum rusted off but for my use i think it will be fine..
