Is it easy to remove the 5 window top and switch it with the 3 windows bottom of cab to make a new rust free 5 window cab? Should I just repair the entire floorboard on the rotted 5 window cab? What I am thinking about doing is cutting the top, below the rear window, from the 5 window and welding it to the 3 window bottom. I am wondering if that is easier than replacing a floorboard. They are tucked up inbetween the inner and outer panels. I plan on doing it on my cab, but I have removed the inner panel for the top chop and that will make it much easier. I will take a look today and see how it could be done.

I was shopping for a 5 window but found a 3 window I couldn't pass up. Now I like the 3 window better. I think it has more of a period look with the small rear window.
Fix them both.

Becasue of budget and a 3rd project ('68 Camaro w/454) I have no cash. Therefore, I am trying to get one of the AD's on the road quickly so the woman does not leave me  I guess rather than swapping tops between two trucks, I could just do the floorboard repair. | | |
