The interior windshield trim on my 1950 3800 has two little clips, or retaining wires, on the underside of the trim (along with a couple of little foam pads that are glued in). The clips were on either side of the defroster vent opening. Any idea what those little clips do? They didn't appear to be attached to anything when I took the trim off. Any trim clip experts out there?
Bruce | | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 1,002 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 1,002 | As I recall, there are small clips that hold the vent (funnel shaped piece that connects to the vent duct) up against the vent opening in the dash. Perhaps that is what you are referring to. There are two on each side.
