So far I understand the following brothers have intentions on participation IF the weather cooperates:
Jim Schmidt Cosmo John Milliman Mike Roache Bill Marlow Chris Sweet Doug Hambone
Have I missed anyone?
I have a few locals who will participate as well. For the sake of planning anyone attending bring your sleeping rolls and a pillow. If you have a cot or blow-up mattress we have plenty of room and better for you.
I will be providing liquid refreshments and food. If there is interest in that junkyard again I can make arrangements.
Please PM me with any specific questions. - Joe 1947 - 3800 dually known as "Deadwrench"Link to a few photosIn this world there are givers and takers. I am sad to inform the Brotherhood that I will be unable to attend. I have spoken to Brother Amtrak Joe, not only as the gracious host of the event, but also the Brother whom I feel can most understand my absence.
Fear not as in any ODSS event all motorcade and security details will be under full security compliance and all parties will be on top alert. Under Presidential Command the grounds are under proper security sweep by no other than our top man, Brother Napcoman and his associates.
Carry on.

Is there any interest in a visit to the crazyman's junkyard?
President Cosmo: Please bring the traveling single malt kit. I will provide the nectar of the gods (mothers milk) to fill the glasses.
Bring cots and sleeping rolls. There is a carpeted floor upstairs to lay out. First come- first serve, otherwise the shop.
Nick: We will be at the shop. Just got off the horn w/ Grigg, who is going elsewhere this weekend. Heard a rumor (third hand intel) that John may be under the weather and not making the trip.
I need a ride. Since Sweet is not in the mix I was thinking of driving out to John's and riding out with the MD Contingent. Mike R, you out there? Have room for a passenger? Could mayhaps leave my truck at John's.

Joe -- Gort is running fine (as far as I know), but I would greatly prefer to not expose it to wintery/salted/brined highways if I don't have to.
Cosmo -- HB and I touched base last night -- You are welcome to come up Friday evening if you like and stay here or at HB's so we can shove off early Saturday AM.
Mike B -- Between the Mechanicsville Squad and the Headquarters Crew, there will be a seat (a real seat that's actually bolted to the vehicle floor with a seatbelt and everything) for you in one of the vehicles. It is still my intention to drive up with some equipment specially requested for the job.
Regards all, John

I just realized - I have enough sockets and open-ends to hurt myself when I'm alone. Can someone pack a bag of 1/2" drive stuff and maybe some open-ends? Too many wrenchers - not enough wrenches. I have the acetylene tank and gas, a 3" cut-off tool.
And don't forget your sleeping rolls and pillows
Thanks - Joe

Other than that, have a good time. I do like what I read here and look foreward to meeting everyone.

Joe has a nice place to work on his trucks, nice big shop, plenty of places to crash and top security too! There will be lots of great pictures coming soon and even some very special video. We even did a little junk yardin yesterday. It was about 20 degrees and windy but that didn't stop us from wondering Crazy Junk yard man's place. Lots of vintage iron but a little pricey. Joe, thanks for everything. I look forward to a return trip to put it all back together.
