1967 GMC 9500 Fire Ladder Truck "The Flag Pole" In the Stovebolt Gallery '46 2-Ton grain truck | '50 2-ton flatbed | '54 Pontiac Straight Eight | '54 Plymouth Belvidere | '70 American LaFrance pumper fire truck | '76 Triumph TR-6 Of all the things I've lost in my life, I miss my mind the most!
Same to you!! Did you happen to get any pic's of those happy faces?? That old G.M.C. looks to be in great shape, compared to most! I'll bet that's a haul you won't forget for a while! On the '56 The cab was so far gone,(on this frame,)that there were rust holes in the inside door panels! you could drop a basketball through either floorboard! Funny part is,the truck sat for over 30 years, and the 261 was still "free"! someone removed the intake/exhaust a year ago,and didn't plug the necessary holes. it's stuck, now. Hopefully a good rebuild candidate.
