Im going to start my project this winter and the ol GM has been settin for 25 yrs. Lots of rust, broken windows, dents in the fenders and not sure even if the motor turns. Where would be the best place to start? When it runs, work on the brakes and get it road worthy, drive it awhile and find out what you want to do body wise. Don't forget to take lots of pictures and ask questions. There are a lot of experts in here who have "Been there, Done that".

Take your time, take lots of pictures, and if you're starting this winter... go ahead & squirt some penetrant (Kroil, MMO, etc.) in the cylinders through the spark plug holes. But I would definitely follow the tech tip page for a detailed start & checklist. Have fun with it- Brad
