BUT.
the cab corner, from LMC truck, won't slip over whats left of the original one. am i supposed to cut the old one out, leaving a lip for the replacement? or what am i doing wrong here...please help!

You can use a flanger to keep a lip for a lap joint (easiest) or trim for a 1/16" kerf and use a butt joint. | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | Word of caution! Even though no one may see it, it may have a direct impact on the manner in which related panels fit to it or how the door gaps turn out. Rockers are important structural pieces so before you weld it up, put the door back on and ensure it is fitting correctly.
