Hello all,
I have a truck (now parts of a truck) that my late grandfather gave me when I was 14 or so. I quit working on it several years ago and it has been sitting in my garage for a long time collecting dust and kids toys. It is completely disassembled except for the chassis. the cab is setting loosely on it and the engine and tranny are loosely setting in it. The cab is primed and no rust, but that is the extend of the body work that I have done on it. The engine is clean and runs. Trans has new clutch in it. I have most of the parts.
So here is the question. What would be a fair price to ask for my old truck in pieces?
Thanks
Mark

Ssrgim is on the money for my area. The fact that the engine runs and cab is in great shape it could fetch 2500. Be sure the engine will start....that's the key.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Thanks guys,
The engine does indeed run. Water pump leaks badly at the seal, but "she'll fire".
Now it is just a matter of pulling the trigger on selling "the truck named Bill" frown

That's about $1500 too high unless that truck is immaculate. I paid $2000 for a '48 1/2 ton running and drivable with no bed and lots of surface rust.
