OK, I watched the videos. Who, in their right mind MIG welds wearing a wife-beater shirt?! What's up with the seam between the roof and the back panel? I'm guessing they are using currently available patch panels for the buildup. Anyone else see any differences between their's and the originals?

Yes, more spot welds than the originals.

I posted the videos to help understand how the Cabs were Assembled.
So maybe at some point when the budget allows.
An Stovebolter can figure out how to cut out the old rusty metal and replace with new.
Sometimes it helps to have a map so you know how to get there.
Unless maybe you like driving blindfolded.

Sorry, I guess my sarcastic humor was lost through the written form.

jorb,

I think that was very good to post those videos. Sometimes you have to look through a whole lot of piles of stuff, to find something that clicks or works. Happens here all the time here.

And good to point out the differences, you guys.

Remember, that is how all this works. We are having to go back in time in a sense. We won't be seeing any video from GM.

smile

Thanks for posting the vids Jorb. I cannot imagine all of what went into setting everything up so that they could mass produce them. Even a knucklehead in a wife beater can do it. smile
