I am restoring my 52 pickup and things are going well. Not planning on installing a radio. I have the original metal insert in the dash but not the plugs for the two holes where the knobs come through. Any suggestions for a source for those hole plugs?

Post an ad in the Swap Meet. Next if you want something to get you by find a couple short, hole size appropriate carriage bolts at Ace (preferably without a code embossed on the face).

Might have read it wrong but it sounds line the ones he's
talking about are the threaded ones that hold the radio delete
plate in place.

Thus the carriage bolts. These are carriage bolts, they work pretty good while you search for originals.

The plugs I am looking for are ones like cover the opening for the cigarette lighter. I assume they are metal.

They won't hold the plate in but ok, they are available at any Ace Hardware.

Hey Bob - I just decided to put a radio in the old 1950. I have the original radio delete plate and the threaded plugs that go with it if you need them. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
