Changed from 5/8" to 3/8" belt in 1953 for Chevrolet trucks.

So possibly look for a GMC generator or pulley.
(oops, sorry, mine is 12v) but maybe you could use the pulley.

I took a pulley off of a 12v generator from a 56 Caddy that uses a 1/2" belt.
