There is the Maple Ridge swap meet on October 5th and the Monroe fall swap meet in Washington state on the 11th and 12th. I predict rain for Maple Ridge..... just sayin'.

ff171, The swap meet is at the Albion fairgrounds in Maple Ridge. It's off Lougheed, between 240th Street and the Haney Bypass.

And I saw this nice Chevy school bus. It had 1993 Dodge running gear, with a turbo diesel, air bags, and hydraulic door. It was quite roomy inside.

Here's a link to that album.

I'd like to but I think I'll be heading north for Thanksgiving. Never have made it to the fall Monroe meet.

Did anyone actually buy anything at the swap meet? I'd hate to think I missed out on a treasure by coming a bit later in the morning.

I haven't found much there other than a few small items. This meet was quite a bit smaller than the spring one even though the weather was perfect. My favorite is the May swap meet in Monroe WA. There is one there this weekend, but the weather looks bad for Saturday.

Monroe was good. It rained a little but there were enough covered areas to keep out of it. By 1:30 the sun was out. Didn't spend much, didn't see things I could use but there was tons of chevy stuff. Saw Atown but he was very busy so I didn't get to say hi to him. Good time.

John
