The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay Gauge cluster install

I'm putting the gas gauge cluster into my 54 1/2 ton and wonder if the trim piece should fit flush to the dash opening sticking out about an inch? I'm having trouble getting a tight fit.
Another question while I'm here - I bought a new 12v gas gauge for the cluster. It came with:
1. Cardboard strip between posts
2. two regular washers on each post
3. one locking washer on each post
4. two nuts on each post
Is this the order in which they are installed?
Do they all go on the post side of the gauge housing?
Where among these nuts and washers on each post is the sender an power connection placed?

Thanks, Dads50, the pictures helped. Now I've got another gauge problem. After inserting the new gas gauge and putting the cluster into the dash, I started it up and oil started dripping out from the oil pressure gauge. I tightened everything but still leaks, I think from the tubing close to the gauge. I don't think I crimped the tube but it seems like a tube crack leak. What is the fix for this?
