The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop Millermatic 130, hypertherm plasma cutter

A man has this used equipment for sale. He said it was in good shape, taken care of. I think he was askin 500 for plasma cutter and 400 for Miller. Is this a decent price for this stuff?

The Miller 130 is an older model. The current replacement, the 135, starts at about $575. If the welder is in good shape and he has some accessories (additional spools of wire, a cart, a tank. etc.) then yes, it's a good deal. Not sure what model plasma cutter it is but the Hyperterm 190c, their entry model, starts at $1,095.

Thanks for the reply RSGS. The Hypertherm is a powermax 350

The 350 is discontinued and is replaced by the 380. It retails for $1150. new. I think the max cutting thickness for both is 1/4". $500. would be a good deal.
