Has anyone done a Tech post on how to remove the drive shaft on a 1941 1/2 pickup? I need to replace my clutch.

I jacked up the rear of the truck so the differential and axle were hanging down on the springs as far as possible, this gave me enough leeway to remove the torque tube from the transmission without removing the springs or axle. Learned about doing it that way from either a posting or tech tip on this site.

Very nice truck. Some day I will get there. I removed the Transmission Cross Member and that let the drive shaft drop down and gave me more than enough room to pull the transmission.

Thanks for the help.
