It's been awhile since i was Active here, the reason is mainly due to that my Gmc 270 runs really great, so i have been out driving =)
However, i have picked up a mystery Chevy L6 for almost free, which i would like to ask you kind gentlemen if you might help me identifying what it is.
I Think i know so much that it is either a 194, 230 or 250.
I know it is newer than 1963(?) since it has the "standard" Chevy bellhousing (a th350 would fit bolt-on without trans adapter)
It also has a spin-on oil filter in front of the fuelpump.
The numbers i have been able to see are:
Casting: 348675 (found on rear passenger side block, under this number is GM and under that is "2")
Serial: F0507CGT (OR CCT) <- i have been able to work out that it might mean: Flint, May, 07.. but the CGT is a mystery to me.
Also, when comparing the width of the block to my gmc 270, it seems really narrow..kinda skinny, especially the valve cover (which is fastened with 6 bolts btw..)
When googling 348675 i see that some say it's a 69-78 Chevy 250, it would be great if this was the case, for then i am swapping the sbc350 in my hot rod for this one.

CCT = 1975 Nova, 250 CID, 105 HP, 350 Transmission, L-22 RPO (Regular Production Option), 1 bbl., & Federal Smog equipment.
I did not see a code for CGT
