What goes on the end of that. Anyone have pictures of what and how it attaches to the Parking Brake handle on the left of the steering column of my 58 GMC 100. Thanks, Larry

Rod end fits into a hole in the Parking Brake handle, then a washer and cotter thru that little hole in rod. The end of the rod you are asking about has a 90deg bend in it. 55-59 GMC Maintenance Manual PP. 255.

The piece I have only has enough length to go from the bell crank into the firewall about 2" and it's not threaded on the end although I could thread it. Larry

I've got some rod about the same size so I may weld a piece to extend it to the ratch of the hand brake. That's the only thing I need to finish the parking brake. Larry

The parking brake rod/linkage sticking out so far into the engine bay on the TF just looks out of place to me. Carl
