Lately I have noticed the oil pressure was really low, even when revving engine hard, may only get in mid 20's of pressure. I read the manuel and it wasn't much help. Will changing the oil pump be the solution for the oil pressure situation? Am also getting noise out of the bottom end of the motor, its been there ever since I had the head rebuilt due to oeverheating. Need some help here. Does it hold mid 20s oil pressure when warm and at 2000 RPM?
What is the oil pressure when at idle and a warmed engine?
Noise out of the bottom end might be associated with worn bearings. That might be associated with lower oil pressure.

Not sure of the RPMs, the pressure is sub 20 when idle and warmed up. You may need to have the crank ground,too,depending on wear. If you had a head gasket failure and dumped antifreeze into your engine it could have scuffed the bearings.
