Good opportunity for anyone in the area who has yet to catch up with us to catch up with us. This is one of the major annual get togethers for the ODSS. If you've been wanting to come out and spend some time with fellow 'Bolters, this is a great opportunity. More info on the Show web site Our pictures from last year Let's get the dialogue rolling! Do you or anyone have a physical address for the location of the show? I'm going to contact the airport and see if they have courtesy vehicle. I hope to make it to this one. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 78 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 78 | J2d8 - your post just doesn't sound right..... | | | | | Joined: Nov 1995 Posts: 5,747 24601 | | 24601 Joined: Nov 1995 Posts: 5,747 | Jim,
They should know right where the fairgrounds are -- Stonewall Ruritan Grounds/Frederick Co. Fairgrounds.
PM me -- if it's that close, one of us should be able to zip over there to pick you up if you need a ride/can't use the courtesy car.
Bring a bed roll and spend the night with us.

Why? I want everyone to see the works-in-progress, compared to last year when we went to a restorer's shop to review the effort. This time the restorer will haul the project to the show. Thank John. We're usually not too hard to find. No matter what time of day it is, there's usually someone "on duty" (aka "Passed Out") in Camp Stovebolt. Just wake him up to check in. As you come in the South Entrance, look for the Stovebolt Flag in the front window of Marlow's motorcoach. It will be the first one past the jiffyjohn on the left. Nick -- we're all looking forward to seeing the Burb progress! JM

But, I'll try to get over there and see you guys/gals. I did last year, but as mentioned earlier, you all must have been out to lunch. I'll try to be in communication so we can meet up. Would love to bring the Magic Bus, but doesn't seem likely.

Schedule of events:
Camp Commandant Billy is always the first to camp on Thursday and sets up the 'U-Shaped' corral with Court Jester Mikey. The presidential motorcade will be running solo-ultra-stealth and plans to arrive 1200 hours. Anybody have any 'rattle-can-red'? I'm in need of a little touch-up on the presidential limo... As soon as camp rough-form is in place I will assist Billy and Mikey in the testing of alcoholic beverages to ensure maximum safety for future imbibers.
Please add your ETA's and plans for this great convocation of trucks and friends.

I've got the chance to come to the truck show and look at all the stovebolts. So I'll be there for a visit Friday or Saturday, maybe both. Who knows, if I can get a few break in runs under my 58's belt maybe I'll drive it up from Richmond.Larry

Yes, bring whatever you have, we often trade/give/sell to each other. Also there is a pretty good swap meet there kind of geared to the big truck crowd but some stuff for the smaller trucks, just have to look harder.
Thanks,
Cosmo
