I'm pulling the passenger door first. Is there a trick to getting these doors off?
Twist left? Swing right? Sacrifice a goat to Khali Ma?

I have enough trouble removing just the hinge from the pillar. I can imagine that it is quite the task to do it with an unwieldy door attached to it.

That was a much easier task after taking the doors off of the hinges. The one hinge with the popped-up pin is still stuck, but the other three are out and ready to be repaired. I seem to recall a Stovebolt article about a gentleman that repairs the hinges. I'll have to dig through the archives.

Much easier going back in and will prevent scraping your new paint off eventually. | | |
