My concern is because I had a title made for my 52-3100 on a 82-S10. DMV said they had to title it a 82 because of the frame.

The running boards on a 3/4 ton GMC pickup would be bolted to running board hangers that are riveted to the frame.

This was passed in reference to the Fiberglas bodied early Ford replicas but I bet if your truck looks like a '52 it can be titled as such.
