So the other day my Gas tank starts to mark its place on the drive way. So I pull the plastic shroud down and it looks like I am going to have to drop the tank to see if it is a simple leak or if it is time to replace the tank.

Here is where you guys come in. Droping the Tank seems simple enough. Is there anything special that I need to know before I drop the tank? Do I need to disconect the fuel lines or power to the fuel pump? Any and all help will be appreicated.

Drop it down far enough to get in and disconnect
hoses & wires. Than take it out rest of the way.
Of course get most of the gas out first.
There are many aftermarket new tanks available
lately. Yours is probably rusted out. To remove
the sending unit tap the retaining ring with
a dull chisel or punch. smile

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
