I scraped and sanded the oil pan but there is still small pockets of rust still on it. Is there anything on the open market I can use to remove the rust before painting??? 1-262-392-2989 or [email protected]

Ospho or other rust converter should be available at any auto parts store

Evaporust it is a safe non toxic rust remover. You should be able to find it online but let me know if you have any issues and I can help you out.

Some Naval Jelly and a piece of steel wool will probably remove it.

The outside of the pan? Sandblast it and paint. Your primer will thank you for all that texture.

Inside of the pan? Sandblast and clean with soap water. Coat with oil immediately to prevent rust.

If you have good access, a 3M rust/paint stripper wheel will get you about 90% there. Evapo-rust would be how I would complete the job.
