| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 13 | I recently bought a 1950 CHev 3100 pickup and it has a later model 6 cylinder engine, but other than that it appears to be a really clean pickup. It has not been run for 20 years and I'm still trying to get it to run half way decent. It is only firing on about half the cylinders. Thinking the dual offenhouser intake is leaking so bad it is only getting fuel to the front two cylinders. I'm really excited to have the truck and looking forward to having just a dependable driver and not so much a show truck. I'm having trouble identifying the year and size of the motor, so I will post what info (numbers) on the general truck forum to see if anyone can help me out. Thanks for sharing sucjh a great hobby and for having this forum for the stovebolt era cars and trucks.
