I recently bought a '50 Chevy 3100 and realize I have much to learn about it. I have some basic plans for the truck that include a 12v conversion, drop axle, open driveline and a T-5, and maybe a 235 or 261 swap later on. Eventually it will get a nicer interior and paint, but I'm liking the patina for now. Welcome to the Stovebolt Echo. You find other bolters near you and your now part of the Texas Connection. Lots of great guys here on the bolt and there in Texas.
Sounds like a good plan. Work on it a few minutes EVERY day and you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish..... and all the help you need is right here.
