I have sagging driver side door and the gap from the hinge to the body is not enough to put the mirror on......the mirrors will not fit on either side.....help

Sagging door may be from broken hinge/pin,or rust issue(s)?? Any pic's?? why do you need a gap to mount your mirrors? Don't they mount to the cowl,or upper hinge bracket? If your door is sagging,the gap (upper hinge,should be Wider than normal,(with the door open). The gap may close,when you close the door,with a broken hinge.

No rust except the screws are pretty well rusted in. Hinge pins are new.
Mirror should attach to the upper hinge but it doesn't line up as there is not enough room to get the mirror screw hole to line up.
