My '51 panel has bendix on the rear and huck on the front.

I'd like to but the bendix setup on the front so they match and would like to keep the truck 6 lug.

Is there a range of vehicles I could use as donors for the bendix setup or do i have to stick with '52 and newer AD only?

Anyone have a complete front setup they don't need?

Contact me after the episode of TV show "The Hoarders" which features me airs. I will be the nutritionally well-endowed, good looking bald guy throwing stuff. Seriously, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding what you need, as lots of guys are pulling them out to upgrade to IFS.

1951 and up would have the bendix brake setup. If I remember right I had to drill 2 of the holes out in the spindles of the huck brakes to allow the bendix backing plate to bolt on.

I figured finding them shouldn't be a problem if you can catch someone at the right time before they toss the old parts.

Any idea what I can expect to pay for a bendix setup?

...and yes, I've read you have to drill out the lower holes from 7/16 to 1/2 inch.

Thanks.

I used the entire front brakes off a 57 half ton on my 46 half, bolted right on.
