I want to change the rear end ratio of my 48 3/4 to a ratio that will allow me to drive at higher speeds. I found a differential from a 1962 Chevy C-10. Will it bolt into the HO52 on my 1948 3/4?

I am trying a 1971 f250 next, I'll let you know how I make out. My 3600 rearend needs pinion bearings. One is $160 and the other is $450... Ouch | | |
