Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 603 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 603 | On the 57, I have the door off and completely stripped out and painted on the inside. Question is: Will I be able to get to the screws to install the outside handle after installing the window glass, regulator and the glass run channel? Or do I need to paint the outside and install the outer door handle first? (I forgot the sequence I took it apart) Thanks.

If you put the window in first you can't get to the handle to put those two clutch head screws in.Larry

I removed and replaced the handles on my '55.2 with the windows in. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 899 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 899 | I also installed my outside handles with the windows in, on my 55.2 3100. Dropped the screws a couple of times down in the door. All I can say is that it was a "ROYAL PAIN IN THE AZZ".
