has anyone found a good source for 1 ton parts?
I badly need a hub grease cap, but the size is so odd apparently.
I'm trying to get the truck ready for a 4,000 mile road trip and I need to do some work
thanks!

Hy seetz, Is the cap you're looking for the one with eight sides at the outboard end and a very fine thread at the other end? If that is the cap, then it is the same cap that is used on up to 1 1/2ton trucks of the same era.

no, it's a very boring round cap with a little rim. the problem is that where it gets pushed in the hub, it's almost 2 1/4 " wide, and it's 1 3/8 " deep, which apparently is an impossible size to find (for me at least)

Hy seetz, send me a p.m. with your address and I'll see if I can find one.
