The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks My first project

I bought this 66 about a year ago. Just now really getting into the project. My plan is to keep it as stock as possible with the exception of converting to power disc brakes on the front and adding A/C. It gets hot in Florida in the summer.
Somewhere along the line someone did a mild "fix up" to the truck (two tone cab, new front fenders, and repaint).
The truck has the original 283, 3 speed transmission, and rear end.
I think this is going to be fun.

I agree with your plan to keep your truck stock. Mine is except for the headers and side pipe. It has the original 292 with three speed on the column and oil bath air filter. Good luck and enjoy!
