Attention : BC Bolters, Maple Ridge swap meet is on April 13. I will be there, rain or shine in my 49. It will be sunny out because I have installed a dual action fuel pump to make the wipers work better.

Hy hippy, thanks for the reminder, but it is too soon like the I.C.B.C. reminders, I'll forget before that date arrives. Impeccable logic about the weather, Murphys Law at work again.

Hi, Super55, You got me going for a bit then I remembered that I have a set of cable chains for 16" tires, but if it snows it is your fault. ( HA HA )

It was a sunny day at the meet. Ran into Dave and his family, and George Disney. George told me about this 235.... cracked block. He had it stitched, but still weeps a little. Hope it gets it to where he likes it. I just picked up 3 hood side "Chevrolet" plates, I'm going to put one on my garage doors, and one for my tool box. Hippy was looking for an oil pan for his splasher if anyone has one. Looking forward to Mount Vernon.

Hey Boyd, what time did you get there. I left about noon. I think George left before that. I did the walk around the cars and trucks and didn't see hippy's truck.

I was there at 9:00 and left at around 12.
Only saw a guy I used to work with.
Pretty crowded, and I was looking at parts, not people.

I got there at 7:50 am, was let in to the old car/ truck parking at 8:00, (Near the swap meet), I did not find any parts for the truck but on the plus side there was no rusty f--d parts in my box. It was a good day, the truck ran fine, and I had a good time.

There is a good one in Puyallup on the 14th and 15th. Mostly indoors so the weather isn't a factor. That's only a 3 hour drive.

Automotive swaps in Ancaster (west of Hamilton) Feb 1 and Paris (south of Brantford) Feb 8. I'll pick you up @ the airport. Off-season fares make the trip as quick as driving all the way to Puyallup from Haney, and certainly more pleasant

That's a funny right? I tolerate sitting in a plane, I don't look forward to it. Especially if the person in front of me just has to tilt that chair back into my 6'2" frame.

Saw Hippy, Dave and his family, and George. Had an eye out for Boyd or Susan, but didn't see them or the truck. I only picked up a stand for my gas torch for $20 and a WW II training Canadian training manual. Saw a great Model A PU that very original. Cool as all get out.
Saw some fenders for Mike Allen's 1950 Chevy car that had like zero rust. Hope he got them. I gave him a call. The guy was asking $125 each. At that price why bother doing body work?

My son and I were there around 10 and left at noon. Spent a whole $0.75. Saw George's truck, nobody else. Even went to Mission Spring and nobody there either.

54John3100, did you have your truck there? I guess I got there about 9 and left about 12:30. Didn't even think about Mission Springs. Haven't been there for ages. I heard they bought the Billy Miner here in Maple Ridge. They have a pizza restaurant next door to it.

No, didn't take the truck. It's still in pieces. Just sealed my gas tank and will put it back in on the weekend. I'll try starting it for the first time since Christmas.
I'm hoping to drive it by the end of May???
Fed my son the buffet at Mission Springs, it was good.
