an anyone provide me with good pictures of door seal installation? I bought the rubber, and the windlace is one better than the other? Do you use both? Does it go underneath the trim retainer?

thanks

I know 41-46 only had wind lace. The seal they sell for the 41-46 would never allow my doors to close. I used the one shown in my photo bucket and can get the doors closed. It has been two weeks and I tried to tighten the latch a little today but the rubber has not compressed enough to make it tighter.

Thanks for the reply I looked at your photos. Pretty nice job on the truck! I didn't see the wind lace pic? Does it go underneath the Trim pieces that go around the cab?

Yes it goes around the inside under the trim that's about 3/4 inch wide. I think that was the only seal back then. The bad part is that it allows water all the way to the wind lace. On the 41-46 water gets to the edge of the dash and runs under some trim pieces that hide the hinge screws. I think the outside seal is great if you can find one that will fit. Mines not on the road yet so how well my seal works I don't know yet.
