The factory Harrison radiator on my 1951 3/4 ton is leaking.
I had a friend that had an extra 1952 1/2 ton radiator which I attempted to install.
The radiator from the 1/2 ton is about an inch less in thickness, and appears to be not tall enough.
I am guessing that the radiators between 1/2 and 3/4 ton are different, or is this due to the year?
Anyway, does anyone make an aftermarket 3/4 ton radiator that will fit as a "bolt in"?
Thanks, Keith

If you have a good shop they should be able to clean it and fix it pretty cheap. | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,597 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,597 | If they cannot fix it and you have to get another one I sourced mine from ClassicParts.com. I just got the standard duty they offer and it fit perfect and has performed well in almost three years of service. | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 16 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 16 | This radiator looks like it was previously repaired by "Sir-hacks-a-lot" himself and is in pretty bad shape. I am sure they could re-core it, but I imagine it will be pricey.
Has anyone had any luck with the aluminum aftermarket radiators? My main concern is keeping truck looking somewhat stock.

If you want to keep it looking stock that's your best bet. | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 | If you were in Illinois, I'd sell you an origianl 3/4 ton radiator. | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 | | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 47 1949 Beast | 1949 Beast Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 47 | I got one from my local radiator shop. $500 | | |
