For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2008 Posts: 84 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2008 Posts: 84 | I have a 40 chevy truck, the crossmember brackets are in a upward angle therefore preventing the rack and pinion from clearing the font motor radiator support. I want to use a 235 so i dont want to cut the support. Does anyone make the brackets to mount the rack and pinion? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 200 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 200 | You can try companies that make IFS kits like Fatman's or Heidt's or others.

I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer for the proper equipment to match your vehicle/engine combination. Please tell us you're not trying to use a R&P on an original straight axle! Then it uses a collapsable steering column for up and down movement. http://www.nolimit.net/products#!/~/product/category=6257097&id=29062181 http://www.nolimit.net/
