I have a 40 chevy truck, the crossmember brackets are in a upward angle therefore preventing the rack and pinion from clearing the font motor radiator support. I want to use a 235 so i dont want to cut the support. Does anyone make the brackets to mount the rack and pinion?

You can try companies that make IFS kits like Fatman's or Heidt's or others.

What brand of front suspension are you using? I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer for the proper equipment to match your vehicle/engine combination. Please tell us you're not trying to use a R&P on an original straight axle! That's Russian Roulette!

No limit sells them. Don't know who else. You have to drill holes through your axle beam to mount them. Then it uses a collapsable steering column for up and down movement.

We can't reliably answer this without knowing what your front suspension setup is.
