I have put a 235 in my 49 1/2 ton an having trouble with the clutch. It is a 10 inch in there now but I have a new 9 inch clutch, pressure plate. If the bolt pattern is the same will the 9 inch stuff work as well? Still using original starter, bell housing, an clutch fork.

Either size clutch assembly would probably work fine in normal driving. Of course, you can only use an assembly that will bolt-up to the flywheel.

Be sure to use a clutch assembly with matching pressure-plate and release bearing (there are two lengths of release bearings, each matching a different "height" pressure plate).
