Will a bench seat from a 67 - 72 c10, c20, c30 fit into a 62 c10? If so, can you tell the difference?

The seat design changed in 1967, so I think they are NOT the same. I bought a seat from a 67 and they are different than the 1964-66 seats. I think all 1960-66 seats are the same.

Here's the seat I pulled from a 1967 C30. It was in such good condition that I suspect it may not be an original seat. It did NOT fold forward but the brackets aligned with the factory floor holes perfectly.

So the 67 brackets match the 62 floor holes?
Other than the 67 seat not folding forwards, they look pretty much the same. Am I wrong?

I can only say the bolt pattern on the seat in that photo,(if it really is a 67 seat) matched the floor on my 1965. I'm thinking other folks here can confirm that the 62 has the same seat brackets or not. If you look where the seat meets the back, you can see there is a piece of upholstery there. On a 64-66 there is going to be a visible hinge joint there.

The seat bolted into my '71 C10 is from a '63 C20. I removed both seats personally and bolted the current one in personally. It lined up perfectly. Now, that said, the brackets are different as far as height. The earlier brackets make the seat sit up a little higher in the later cab and the later seats will sit a little bit lower in the earlier cab.
