Thanks,

It's not wired in, but it looks good.
Of course I've got a few holes in the dash that I have no idea of what they go too. | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 159 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 159 | I had one as well in my 46 and just bought a 12 volt replacement and wired it in. I bought the one with a chrome lighter not the plastic so it looks more period correct. | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 1,158 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 1,158 | There is a knockout baffle in my '46 for one, and I'm pretty sure we have the same dashborard.
It's down in the cluster by the Ignition and the Choke/Throttle cable pulls.
IINM, it's supposed to be chrome. The knockout baffle is. | | | | Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 700 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 700 | Thanks guys. I went to Autozone today and picked up a 12v lighter. The chromed solid brass knob from my "old" 6v just needed skochi turning to fit. The knob is in the chrome shop now.
