I am looking to rebuild my trico vacuum wiper motor for my 36 GMC. Been surchasing the internet for a rebuild kit and have not found one for it. I have found a lot for early Ford model A. Pictures of the kit look like they will work.
Does anyone know if they will before I buy something I can not use?

No rebuild kits are available. You can send it to Ficken Wiper Service and he will do it for you at a reasonable price.

As info here is Ficken's web site.

I rebuilt mine. Be careful with the disassembly. take photos, clean all parts well (pay attention to ports and tubes be sure they are clear/open), cut new gaskets as needed and reassemble.

Good luck,
Harold

What gasket material did you use to rebuild yours?

W,
I Used Fel-Pro Rubber -Fiber Sheet, P/N 3157. It is 26" x 10" x 1/32". It is available at most auto parts stores. Mine came from Auto Zone.
