Not quite correct. The new style heater has the tubes slightly staggered and the old style has them pretty much in line with each other. The tanks on the old style are taller and the mounting provisions different. I assume to make room for the "front trap door"
Old style core This is best I could find for new style off hand I had pictures of both cores side by side but cannot find them right now.
