I've never put in a tank like you have but I have seen many of my friends and checked them out at car shows.
If the neck is not long enough from the supplier then a hose connection is the ticket. I got my hose for the panel from NAPA as they have the real deal.
Should the neck be to long then I've had friends that cut the neck off and join back with a piece of hose rather than try weld it.
.... and some use the flip up lid, some use the recessed cup like in a kitchen sink.
Now with all that said you may have to adjust the tank up, or down, to suit your needs and adapt/tighten the mounting straps so as to keep it there. In the end either way you choose should be fine. | | |
