I personally want a 10 or preferably 12,000 lb lift. If I wanted a smaller one I'd still buy Mohawk or Rotary.
If you haven't looked at or researched the Mohawk lifts you ought to, there's a whole lot of steel in them, good solid design built to last near forever if not longer.

Having not bought any lift yet I don't really have much to say other than what I would/will buy when I can.
Anyone buying a lift ought to do their own research, see what they think is best suited to their shop, desires, and budget.
