So, I must have a 6v starter. I don't know why, weren't 59s built with 12V?
I don't have a stock ign switch, and half the wiring was done by a PO.
Perhaps I should install a two way toggle switch. "Down" will route 12v directly to the coil, and "Up" will route through the resistor.
