Best reason to go with those Ford 16" 8 lug rims is that they have a center section that allows you to fit in a 3/4 ton Chevy hub cap (added spring clips from Chevs of the 40s to hold the stock caps). That's what I'm running on my 53 3600 right now with radial tires, life is good. I had restored the old split rims but now days around where I live the good old tire shops are gone and the new one do not like to work on split rims.
