The problem I have when using a small compressor to do small blasting jobs is WATER! As mentioned above, those little compressors have to run constantly, and even using the small HF blasters, I get so much water through the air line that it wets the sand and clogs the tips. Only took me an hour to do one side of a glovebox lid..... So no more sandblasting for me. It goes to the man. Hate sand in my ears and neck and everywhere else.
BTW one of the best cleaning tools I have used is a small angle air tool with those Scotch round discs.
