| | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | With the help of a friend, we have removed and installed the front inner/outer fenders and the grill as a single unit (this might be what people call a front clip or a dog house?). This was on 1954 trucks, but I'd bet that 47-53 would allow the same.
At least loosening the radiator support/housing is necessary. Someone else will have to correct/comment on this. There are side arms on the radiator that I dimly recall required a bit of careful maneuvering.
