Howdy! I am going to be replacing the roof skin on my 57 here in the next few weeks due to rust, would it be a good idea to put some of that sound dampening/ heat shield mats on the underside of the new skin to help reduce noise and heat? Or could I put it on the topside of the inner roof panel?
I live in south Texas so 100 degree weather is a norm during the summers, thought that these might help but not sure if its worth it.

Any thoughts on this?
