Longhorn Wrench Fetcher L Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 64 Texas	I am pulling my 230 engine with the muncie truck 3 speed out of my 63 c10,and putting a 283 in it . I want to put a saginaw 4 speed back in it.What would be the best 1st gear ratio if I am running the 373 gear in the rear?One day I would like to go with a 5 speed but a 4 speed fits my budget for now.
